Description
Hello hiking buddies,
I'm panning on doing a hike on Wednesday from Spitzingsee to Fischhausen- Neuhaus taking in the Brecherspitz summit on the way.
Plan is to catch the train from Munich Hauptbahnhof at 08:00 to the train station Fischhausen- Neuhaus, from there taking a short bus journey further on to Spitzingsee arriving at about 9:25am.
The plan is to take the easier route to the summit, instead of scrambling up the Ostgrat (east face).
From Fischhausen-Neuhaus we will take the train back to Munich Hauptbahnhof. The train comes every hour.
Would be up for stopping at huts on the way. Obere- Firstalm is on the way.
You will need:
- Hiking Boots
- atleast 2L water
- Snacks
- sunscreen
- sunglasses
- hat
- Cash for train and hut food
The weather is looking ok so far, but this hike is subject to cancellation if the weather changes for the worse.

I just got told Bayern Ticket is valid from 9am so I have post poned the meeting time till 8.45am
