This is a long and demanding hike with over 2000m of elevation gain that includes an easy via-ferrata of grade A/B.
People that are interested should be fit enough to do it at a reasonable pace, ideally should have already done a bunch of hikes this year before and should have no fear of heights. In practice that means that beginner hikers are excluded from this event.
We leave from Munich with the train at 7:30 and arrive in Ehrwald at 9:30. There is no specific time for being back in Munich, we will take the next train after we finish the tour.
Disclaimer:
Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
We will meet at Hbf Gleis 27 on Thursday at 7:15am, as the train leaves at 7:30. Be punctual otherwise you might have to buy your own ticket.
