Description

It's one of the most beautiful hikes in Bavaria. The ridge between Heimgarten and Herzogstand offers amazing views of Walchensee and Kochelsee. In sunny hot days, don't forget to take a dip in Walchensee. 

The hike is technically easy, except few sections in the ridge. Those sections are secured with the rope for safety. (Copied from Amit)

Hey,  if you spontaneously decide that you want to have some fresh air in the mountain and are reasonably fit with hiking shoes,  you are welcome to join me in the tour tomorrow!  

We meet at 07:35 on platform 28 of the Munich central station.  It will take around 1 hour 45minutes before we start hiking. Here is Hütte on the way but please make sure you have enough food and water for the whole tour. Also bring a rain jacket with you since it might be raining.
