PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE JOINING THE HIKE -
This is a fairly easy hike so beginners are also welcome. However, you should be doing cardio regularly and be fit enough to complete the hike. We'll go at a speed around 400 - 450 hm/hour. We'll meet at Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) platform 27 right before 08:00. I'll buy the ticket right at 08:10, so if you arrive after that time, you have to buy your own ticket. We'll take the RB5413 towards Innsbruck and get down at Murnau. From there we'll take RB59561 towards Oberammergau and get down at Oberammergau, which is the start point of our hike.
The hike will end also in Oberammergau, from where we'll catch the train towards Murnau. The trains are at 14:38, 15:38, 16:38 and so on. I'll prefer to catch the 15:38 train at the latest. This is a short hike, should not take much time!
N.B.1. The gpx file for this hike is already available. Everyone please download a gpx viewer app (e.g., bergfx, gpx viewer) in your phone and save the gpx file of the route. It is important to have the route beforehand if you get separated from the team!
N.B.2. The weather is supposed to be good on Saturday. If the weather condition changes and becomes really bad, I'll have to cancel the event. It is not recommended to take unnecessary risks. The event will also be cancelled if the number of participants are less than 3.
Alert for Corona Virus: Please do not join the event if - i) you are sick, or, ii) you have recently been in a trip to one of the hotspots of COVID-19.
Things to bring:
