Description

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T5 (Via ferrata C), and requires scrambling at some places please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T5. Please check the route description before joining.

Things to bring:

  • Waterproof hiking boots
  • Cash for the ride
  • Klettersteigset, Helmet and Harness
  • Passport/ID
  • Food/drinks for the way
  • Rain jacket 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Good to know

We will meet at Hauptbahnhof Gleis 31 in 5:40, as the train leaves at 5:52. We arrive in Oberstdorf at 8:20, and start the hike from there. 

There is no specific time for being back in Munich, we will take the next train after we finish the hike.

I will buy the Regio-Ticket Allgau-Schwaben, which costs 22e  + 7e for every other passenger. Therefore we divide the cost depending on the number of people in the hike.



DO NOT JOIN BEFORE MESSAGING ME! 

If you want to join, you have to have already done at least 5 hikes over 2000m in the last two months, have absolutely no fear of heights and exposure, and you need Via-Ferrata equipment.
