A chance to make up for the lack of Octoberfest.

See the beautiful Neuschwanstein castle, dress up in Lederhosen/Dirndl, enjoy a beer at the hit and Swim at the end, what more could we ask for?

Don't turn up without Trachten, this is a strict requirement

Public Transport: We will take the train at 6:53 to Schwangau, then the bus to Neuschwanstein. I will buy tickets for everyone at 6:40.

The journey takes ~ 2 hours, 20 minutes.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3, please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3. One ridge is T4, however this is optional.

Fast pace: The hike needs to be medium paced to allow time for pictures, swimming at the end and due to the longer train journey both ways.

Things to bring:

• Trachten (Mandatory)
• Hiking shoes
• Cash for the train ride (12-15 EUR) and for food/drink at the hut
• Mask
• Passport/ID
• Food/drinks for the whole day
• Swim gear

I will change the date if necessary based on weather, 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
