Säuling (2047 m) is a mountain on the German-Austrian border in the Ammergau Alps which is also known as the Northern Limestone Alps.
We start from Munich at 06:32 to go to Reutte in Tirol from where we start our hike. From there we go up to the Zunderkopf (1726 m) followed by Säuling (2039 m). Afterwards, we get down on the other side of the mountain and reach Hohenschwangau. From Hohenschwangau, we take a bus to Füssen from where we come back to Munich by train. ( Be aware, we may do the tour in the opposite direction. )
We start from Munich at 06:50 to go to Füssen where we will change to bus and continue to Hochschwangau. After reaching the summit, we will descend to south and first have a break at Säulinghaus and then we will continue to Reutte.
Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4 . Please read the blog to understand the requirement for T4 sac scale. In general, this is not suitable for beginners, and you should have some fitness to make more than 20 Km and 1700 m elevation gain without many problems.
