Description

Fairly easily hike from Farchant around the side to Garmisch.

Meet at Munich HBF Gl. 27 at 8:10 to arrange Bayern tickets.

Will get the 8:32 RB 5413 to Farchant, arrive at 9:47.

Expected to be back in Munich before 19:00. Trains back from Garmisch are every 30 minutes so not rushed.

Around 18km in length so expect to be fairly fit.

Need to bring enough water (2L) and food as I'm not aware of any hut along the way.

Forecast for tomorrow is reasonable but it is Autumn so bring a jacket,
