Important: Since the route start point of Krumbacher hohenweg lies in Vorarlberg, which is one of the Covid-19 risk zones, I am changing the event to Eissee. Please unjoin the event, if you don't like this route.

This is an easy-medium hike - suitable for beginners who do sports on a regular basis. We might be doing this route in the reverse direction.

Public Transport: We will take RB57580 departing at 6:53 am, which will arrive Kempten at 8:22 am. From there we take RB57662 departing at 8:28 am. At 9:19 am we reach Oberstdorf. We take Bus 9763 departing at 9:45 am to Christlessee (10:02 am). This is the start point of our hike.

Note that the bus ticket is not included in the Servus (or Bayern) ticket. However, it has a 50% discount for a group of 10 or more people.

During the descent, we plan to take the scooter from Oytalhaus to Oberstdorf, if we are on time, and the haus still offers them.

Return connection from Oberstdorf: 17:40, 18:22, 19:20... 

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3. With the recent snow the route will feel a bit more challenging. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3.

We will have a lunch break at the hut, however, this will happen during the descent, so bring enough food/drink for the whole day. 

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket + possibly for the food/drink at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Sunscreen
• Some tolerance for cloudy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
