Hi all,

I'm planning to hike Brecherspitz on Sunday - the weather seems to be good. The plan ist to leave at 08:04 from Hbf with the BOB to Bayrischzell. Starting in Neuhaus, the hike should take around 7 hours.

Don't forget to bring hiking boots, warm clothes, and enough to eat and drink. The hike requires surefootedness and you shouldn't be afraid of height.

Your route includes the ridge part traversing Anklspitz and Schlierseespitz on an unmarked trail right at the beginning. If you haven't been there yet, you should make sure to read about that ridge. That part is definitely not advisable if conditions are wet and slippery. In my opinion it's definitely a T4 with one or two short grade 1 scrambles, and unmarked which is why it's listed as T5 I think. The main ridge of Brecherspitze is much easier than that section at the beginning.

Hi Imre, thanks for your comment. I was indeed asking someone about that part, who said it is doable. Depending on the group and conditions on Sunday, we migth take an easier ascend, such as https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/848/.
