Public transport: We take M79009 departing from Munich at 7:56 am. It reaches Prien a Chiemsee at 8:51 am, from where we take RB27557 departing at 9:16 am. Finally, at 9:30 am we arrive Aschau. This is approximately 2 km from the start and end point of our hike, however, there are no buses on Sundays, so we will have to walk.

Departure time of return connections: 17:43, 18:46, 19:46, 20:43.

Technical difficulty: This hike has difficulty T3. Please see the blog to understand the difficulty and requirements for T3 sac scale. The part from Aschau to Kampenwandhuette (1510m) and chapel is suitable for beginners. The route from the hut to the peak requires some scrambling, where you may need to use your hand for support (no climbing though).

We will have lunch at the hut, however please bring enough food and drinks to avoid starvation/dehydration before reaching there.

• Food and drinks for the way (we will have lunch at the hut)
• Cash for the ticket and food/drinks at the hut
• Sunscreen or rain jacket, depending on the weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
