A hike of moderate difficulty, albeit rather lengthy and it'll be raining. See here for a description of the route. Please only join if you're o.k. with a moderate pace and have done a hike or two before. Also, look at the dude with the backpack with no rain-cover in the picture - think his stuff is dry? Probably not. Be smart, don't be that guy.
We'll take the train from München Hbf (track 27-36) at 07:04 to Geitau. We'll be getting a Bayernticket at 06:50 - if you're not there on time, you'll have to buy your own ticket.
We should take about 7.5 hours, so we'll probably take the train back to Munich at 16:38, possibly one hour earlier.
What to bring:
- rain stuff
- proper boots (it you're feet get wet you probably won't be happy)
- food/drinks (there's is a hut on the way, but according to its homepage it's not operational)
- there'll be a lake, so if you're so inclined, bring a towel and take a bath (I might)
- your mobile phone with the GPX file
Note, that I'm neither a guide, nor have I done this specific route before and am an irresponsible person in general. Having said that, you're most welcome to join!
