Train Details:

We board M79059 from Platform 7 at 7:43

Platform 7: This platform is not so obvious like other platforms in Munich Hbf. Do come 10 minutes earlier to avoid missing the train or running in the last minute.

Train starts at 7:43 am. We travel about an hour and get down at Flintsbach at about 8:42 am.

We have return trains at every 1 hour. We plan to take the train at 18:16 at Flintsbach train station and reach at  about 19:15 back to Munich central station.

Tickets:

We buy tickets at the train station before boarding the train.

You are completely responsible for yourself, your actions and your safety during the entire trip. You automatically agree to these terms and conditions when you sign up for this trip. Organizer is merely responsible for bringing the hikers together.

Important Points to observe and follow:

  • This is a T2 hike but good fitness required
  • You will always stick to the group. Make always sure that you see the group in sight.
  • We are not in a hurry to hike. This is a hike to relax and enjoy not meant to be a sport. Please no pressure on peers in hurrying up.
  • Whenever there is a diversion in the route please stop till the entire group is there at the diversion.
  • Organizer will buy the tickets and keep the tickets safe till we reach back.
  • Please download the gpx map for offline view : GPXTracker works for iphone, "GPX Viewer from Venture" might be good for android

Things to bring along:

  • Good hiking shoes
  • Enough water : There are huts en route but please bring as much water as needed
  • Cash 12 Euro or if you have N26 bank account you can transfer immediately
  • Face Mask to wear wherever applicable (You are responsible for this)
  • Rain jacket if you prefer (There is a probability of about 60% rain in the afternoon)
  • Food if you prefer not to dine at the huts. At lease there are 2 huts but if they are closed I am not responsible
