NO BEGINNERS REGULAR HIKERS ONLY
NOTE: THE SNOWLINE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AROUND 1000M THIS WEEKEND SO THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE WE GONNA HAVE SOME SNOW UP THERE, ALSO EXPECT TEMPERATURES AROUND 0
We are meeting at Harras, buy a ticket together and take the train to Bayrischzell. We meet at 8 and take the 8:11 train, back around 6.
Please bring enough food and water, I didn't check if the huts are still open.
Snow forecast is around 20 cm in the next few days, I will check the webcam on Saturday but there is a good chance we can't take this route as it also involves some ladders and scrambling. If there is too much snow we adopt the route to this one: https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/538/
It has been done in winter and will simply be safer, we can decide on the spot whether we might wanna go to kleine Traithen or a different path back once the conditions on the mountains is clear.
I) Hiking shoes
ii) Hiking poles (not mandatory, but it always better to have them).
iii) Enough water for the whole day.
iv) Snacks and or food. We're not planning on stopping at huts
v) Proper clothes for hiking
vi) A good mood
Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
