Description
Sunday hike to ... Lenggrieser Hütte - the long way! :)
Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as easy/medium and I would like to have a pace around 400.
Things to bring:
- Hiking shoes;
- Food and water(2 litres) - there is one hut on the way: Lenggrieser Hütte
- Trekking/hiking poles;
- Worm clothes + rain jacket;
- Head lamp;
- Good energy.
Optional:
- Spikes and gaiters;
- First aid kit.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit for emergencies.
Good to know
We
will meet at 7:40 in front of platform 34 to have time to buy the
tickets. The train will leave at 8:04. The price for the ticket is
between 12 and 15 Euros. After 7:50 you have to buy your own ticket!

The trip with the train will be around one hour so we could start our hike around 9. My intention is to take the train back from Lenggries at 18:47 and to be in Munich at 19.54(we also have options at 18.17 or at 19.17).

If you have on your account a NO SHOW review in the last year DO NOT JOIN. Just a short reminder about tickets strategy with BOB.
If you have 1-3 people, use "Guten Tag Ticket" https://www.brb.de/de/tickets/guten-tag-ticket If you have 4-5 people, use "Oberland-MVV-Ticket Gruppe" (38 EUR) https://www.mvv-muenchen.de/tickets/tickets-tageskarten/bob-mvv-ticket/index.html
This tickets are available in yellow-blue BOB ticket machines and not in red-grey DB ticket machines.
