Hi all,


Planning a nice hiking day out up to Tegernseer Hütte. First time there for me. Should be a great day out with good weather! 


This hike is for enjoying a day out in nature and have a good time. So no trail running or racing up the mountain.This means its meant to be a relaxed hike BUT:


Be prepared for the wintry conditions and bring the correct gear to the hike! Also be prepared for exposed parts in the mountains.


It will be a moderate pace to enjoy our day, but you should be able to do at least 400 m gain per hour.  Please do not join otherwise or contact me first! Bring food and water for yourself as the hut has limited service.


Meeting time 07:30am. We meet close to Laim S-Bahn, in front of the Aldi supermarket (Wotanstraße 9c, 80639 München).


I will be driving my car and the cost is 10 Euro per person.


The hike is subject to be cancelled by me if the weather forecast looks bad on the day before.

Hiking boots and backpack with proper hiking equipment are a must if we go hiking together  :)

Hiking Buddies Munich is not a group of professional mountain guides but individuals gathering for sport activities. Each participant is responsible for her-/ himself and has to be prepared, bring suitable equipment and has to check if he meets the physical requirements. Hiking includes a certain risk and everybody is responsible for his/ her own safety. It is highly recommended having some kind of insurance in case of an incident.

Beware of the stats on this hike: it is closer to 7 km, as the route selected only includes ascent.
