Description

The start point for this event changed after a very late discussion. We are now meeting in front of Brüdermuhlstraße 32 at 6:30 and going by car.

Let's make use of possibly the last snow free weekend.

Max participants: 5
People who know me from before or who a god (believe me there are plenty on this platform) can vouch for, please.

Description: This hike is not for beginners. It involves a decent bit of scrambling (up to UIAA II) and exposure (T6).
We take the train at 6:25 AM and go Garmisch then change to reach Hammersbach.
We will try to keep a fast pace and try to take the 17:10 bus from Eibsee (worst case 18:10) to Garmisch (cost 4,70/-). Depending on the time and motivation of the group we will skip Riffelspitze.

Things to bring

  • Helmet (very important! Lots of loose stones in the Waxensteinrinne and the other bits)
  • Money for the Bayern ticket + Eibsee bus (~15 euros)
  • Food/water (no hut stop most probably)
  • Appropriate clothes (It's autumn!).
  • Gloves for the scrambling part.
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours
