Only for hikers with some scrambling experience who have recently done T4 hikes and pace >450hm

I have rented a VW touran 7 seater and will bring max 6 buddies (max 2 buddies per row). Costs will be max 20p.P including tolls and everything

We will meet at the south side of Ostbahnhof, Friedenstrasse 15, please plan a time buffer for finding the place and be on time

Rappenspitze is a 2.223m high mountain in the Karwandel.

The ascent via the north side is easy and famous, this is a secret version and a full S-N traverse of the mountain. From Lunstsattel there is no trail up to Lustkopf but the terrain is rather easy. From the peak down to Sunntiger and over the ridge to Rappenspitze is more challenging and includes some scrambling. Descent on the normal hikingtrail is easy. At the peak you have fantastic views to Karwendel, Rofan and Achensee.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4, and requires grade I scrambling please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T4. Please check the route description before joining.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Passport/ID
• Food/drinks 
• Cash for eventual hut / restaurant after the hike
• Gaiters - spikes

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
