Important: We are crossing the border, so please have the documents with you that you usually carry for border crossing.

This is an easy-medium hike - suitable for beginners who do sports on a regular basis. The route offers nice views of Plansee.

Public Transport: We will take RB5508 departing at 6:26 am, which will arrive Reutte in Tirol Schulzentrum (second last stop) around 9 am. This is the start point of our hike. The hike ends in Heiterwang Plansee.

Return connection from Heiterwang-Plansee: 17:11 (2h19m), 17:48 (3h52m), 19:11(3h8m) 

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3. With the recent snow the route will feel a bit more challenging. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3.

There are no huts on the way, so please bring enough food/drink for the whole day.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket 
• Food/drinks for the way
• Sunscreen
• Some tolerance for cloudy and rainy/snowy weather
• (optional) ideas/resources to play some game during the train ride back to Munich :)

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
