At the western end of the car park, the signposted ascent to Brunnenkopfhütte begins at a bridge. Climbing parallel to a stream leads to a fork. You cross the stream and later a forest road to continue north on a cart track. First in hairpins, then in a rising traverse and again in bends you finally reach the long ridge from Oberammergau pulling westward. Here comes the path coming from the Pürschlinghaus. Keep to the left and thus it goes more shallowly to Brunnenkopfhütte.
At the hut, do not turn right to Brunnenkopf, but continue straight ahead to the west (sign: alpine experience and sure-footedness necessary). You cross a small saddle and have a great view of the Klammspitze in front of us. Slightly descending into the mountain basin east of the Klammspitze and then steeper on last bad way up to a saddle with a beautiful view of the Ammertal. From here it is only a stone's throw to another saddle from which it then in light climbing always following the red dots on the southern flank to the summit cross of the Great Klammspitze goes up.
Rest: follow the GPS along the ridge.
IMPORTANT:
You need a car for this walk. Saša's car is full: Irmilee, Aurélie, Monica, Charlie
