Want to spice up your hikes with some climbing (Klettersteig) but were always afraid to do so? This route is exactly what you are looking for.

Want to double-spice up with some snow walk? Say no more..

Requirements, especially for this Saturday hike with expected snow:

- You need to be a generally fit and good hiker with sure footing

- You shouldn't be afraid of heights!

- Good hiking boots with solid grip (Bergschuhe Typ A or Typ B  should be enough)

- Chained-Spikes for the shoes (Crampons [Steigeisen] are an overkill) 

- Really good, thick winter gloves. You'll be holding cold rocks!

The typical list requirements:

1. Personal items (house keys, wallet, ID, some money, phone)

2. Optional: Battery pack for the phone

3. Water (1.5 L +), food and snacks

4. Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat

5. Hiking shoes, hiking clothes

6. Basic First aid: footcare (if needed). I am taking my knee bands

7. Hiking poles/sticks

8. Hygiene: Taschentuch, Mouthcare

9. Headlamp

10. The facemask

To the tour:

- This is a beginner-friendly hike;  you will not need any extra gear (like a ferrata set) besides a helmet. Technically, a helmet is not even needed, but the head is so important that out of safety, I am recommending it here.

Other equipment like a harness or ferrata security kit or ropes will not be needed. 

Note: As of today (Monday 16.11), it is predicted to snow on Saturday. This is exactly the kind of weather I am looking for this fairly short but sweet hike with some climbing.
