Description

Teufelstättkopf is one of the most popular mountains in Ammergauer alps. This hike is mostly T2 except the last couple of meters to the peak. Needless to say, all winter hiking gear are mandatory.

We take the RB 6/RB 60 (towards Mittenwald) from Munich HBF at 8:32, transfer midway at Murnau, and reach Unterammergau at 10:13, which is 1.3 km from starting point of hike. Return route is the same way with trains leaving Unterammergau every one hour starting from 16:42. Last train leaves at 21:42!
