Description
This is an easy route from Tegernsee to Fockenstein and back to the parking spot via Hirschstalstattel.
On the way back, we pass by a source of Sulphurous water.
Fockenstein is easy and popular hike which is also popular in winter with snowshoes. For skitouring, it's not very steep for descent but beginners can try it.
The route is well reachable from Munich using BOB and Bus (running from early until late pretty much all year), the highlight being the Aueralm on the way down, which is also open all year, making this an interesting choice for the winter months.

Note: It will snow on Sunday (maybe it will be rain if the temperature is above zero). So, waterproof shoes and clothing are mandatory.
