Description

Easy hike in the Mangfallgebirge that leads to the Hohe Asten over a wide forest path. The way to the Rehleitenkopf is partly pathless, but should not be difficult. The elevation is not to be underestimated though.

The weather forecast for Saturday looks great. There should be not much snow left, if any - but it might be very muddy.

We are 2 people from the same household going by public transportation (direct train connection, ~1 hour)

We are flexible regarding both, the outward as well as the return journey timing.

Following the COVID-19 rules - one more person is welcome to join.

On the way down we could grab something to-go from the Berggasthof Hohe Asten. 

Good to know

We will take the train to Kufstein from Haupbahnhof, our destination is Flintsbach. Please be in front of platform 5-10 latest at 07:30, so that we have enough time to buy a ticket together.

Things to bring:

  • waterproof hiking shoes
  • food and drinks
  • cash for train (11-14€)
