Hoher Ziegspitz (1.864m) is a rather unfrequented peak in the Ammergauer Alps. The reason could be, that the most hikers in the area aim to climb the well known Kramerspitz, the "Hausberg" of Garmisch.
From the top of Hoher Ziegspitz you have the best views to Eibsee, the Bavarian caribbean and Zugspitze, the Top of Germany.
The ascent and descent is the same way across the so called "Gelbes Gewänd", a well laid out beautiful trail which looks different all times of the day. There is a nice hut on the way with excellent views to the Zugspitzmassive.

Note : I can accommodate people in the trail who are ok with slow\intermediate pace with flexibility to adjust with the spontaneous situation . We have no rush to come to back to Munich early.
I've visited multiple times here and the weather forecast is bit unpredictable and therefore we may come back early depending on the situation . Idea is to do either Ziegspitz or Krammerspitz.
Gears : Waterproof shoes , Spikes and extra clothes are mandatory
