Description

Dear Hiking Buddies,

who would like to join on a hike to Taubenstein and Hochmiesing? We will take the BOB to Fischhausen-Neuhaus, where we will catch the bus to Spitzingsattel. From there we will hike to Taubenstein (some scrambling involved, summit partially exposed) and then further up to Hochmiesing. On the descent we will come across the beautiful Soinsee and finally reach the station in Osterhofen.

Good to know

No first-time hikers, please!!

Meeting and purchasing tickets at 06:45 at München Hbf, track 27-36 (near BOB tracks). 

We will travel on a Bayernticket and share the costs (10 - 15 Euro per person depending on number of participants). Please bring cash for the ticket.

Hiking boots are required, hiking poles may be helpful. Please inform yourself about the weather forecast in order to dress appropriately (it may be windy and cold in the mountains). Headlamp/torch strongly recommended, as days are getting shorter.

Please bring enough food and water (~ 2L) for the whole day, as huts may not be open and I am not planning to have lunch in a hut/restaurant.

Everyone is joining at his/her own risk. I am no mountain guide and not responsible for you.
