Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have a couple of days of holiday left for this year?
I am currently working on setting up a nice hike for 5 days - I am currently working on the details, but it would be good to know who is interested.
Please note this is a high alpine terrain, please do not compare the distances and altitude differences you see to walk to Wendelstein ;-) If you're starting your adventure with hiking, please contact me before joining.
The rough plan would be
Day 1 (Wednesday):
Transfer from Munich to Neustift in Stubaital, Ascend to the Nürnberger Hütte. In the (late) afternoon a walk/small summit or Klettersteig depending on will and weather. Stay in the hut
Day 2 (Thursday):
Walk from Nürnberger Hütte over Mairspitze to Sulzenauhütte, meal there, a short Klettersteig (optional) flying fox (optional, if I am nice enough to carry a rope ;-). Walk to Dresdner Hütte (low/high road), overnight stay there. There is a sauna (optional, woop, woop!) if at least 4 people would be interested.
Day 3 (Friday):
Walk from Dresdner Hütte to Neue Regensburger Hütte, a little tour afterward if we still have the energy.
Day 4 (Saturday)
Going to Franz-Senn-Hütte in the morning (that's where my 'helicopter' is :-D ), then either one of the Klettersteigs, A little or a longer tour/ stay at the hut.
Day 5 (Sunday)
Morning: Klettersteig, Rinnenspitze, Aperer Turm or Sommerwand, then break at the hut and descend to the valley - route depends on the choice of activities in the morning.

Good to know
In order to get there we will be taking an ICE to Innsbruck (~ €20-25) and a bus (cost ~ €10) coming back the same way or Bus + Werdenfelsenbahn - Detailed Info will follow
Please note - the target area is really beautiful but also a little bit more distant from Munich and the huts are on much higher altitudes - this will also be reflected in the prices. A reasonable estimate would be: €100 for transfers, then €60 per hut/night - altogether ~€350 for everything.
Sturdy boots are a requirement. Hiking poles, Klettersteigset/harness and a helmet are highly recommended.

01.09.2021: Nürnberger Hütte: 5 beds
02.09.2021: Dresdener Hütte: 5 Mattresses
03.09.2021: Neue Regensburger Hütte: 5 beds
04.09.2021: Franz-Senn Hütte: 5 Mattresses
Some rough information about the huts and practical details will be added at a later date.
Please note that due to the popularity and remoteness of the huts, the cancellation costs in some of them are pretty high. Due to that, you will be asked to pay a deposit of €50, which I will give back to you on the first day of the tour.
I'll be taking care of the accommodation booking and transportation choice - you will be asked to book your train tickets in advance. If you never hiked with me or I still don't have your telephone number, please write to me.
