Description
The Kompar (2011m) is a beautiful panoramic mountain in the Karwendel. With their craggy peaks, extensive forests and lush meadows, the Karwendel Mountains are famous for their wild and untouched beauty. The Karwendel Nature Park has been subject to a preservation order since 1928 and is one of Europe’s oldest nature reserves.
Even though it's not a very difficult hike, still it's quite long and with high elevation one. Not suitable for complete beginners!

CORONA RULES

- Gastronomy
Guests must still present a valid negative test result, proof of vaccination or confirmation that they have had COVID-19 disease (3-G rule) - self-tests will still be possible on siteGood to know
Things to bring:
- Hiking shoes - mandatory!
- Cash for the ticket ( Bayern Ticket + Bus ) - ca. 30 Euro
- Rain jacket
- Passport/ID
- Trekking/hiking poles
- Food/drinks
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
