ARTENTION - WE MOVE THIS HIKE FROM SATURDAY TO SUNDAY - rain forecast on Saturday and 6h of sun on Sunday. Everything else stays the same. I hope this works for most people as well!

We (Caro + Carsten) will do this very classic ridge hike on this coming Saturday. No beginners - we hike pretty fast!

IMPORTANT: We will start in Walchensee and END in Ohlstadt, exactly opposite as the route description here. 

Meeting Point and Time: 

07:40am Hbf Munich, Gleis 27

Getting there:

Train RB 59613 to Kochel, leaves the station at 7:59

Bus 9609 zu Walchensee, Herzogstandbahn (direction Garmisch-Partenkirchen)

We will get down in Ohlstatt.

Hourly train back to Munich (4:26pm, 5:26pm, 6:26pm)

The tour itself is not very difficult, but we usually walk at a quite fast pace - so we do not appreciate total beginners / good athletic condition required. 

Update 19/11: Since the routes 411 and 443 from Heimgarten down to Ohlstadt are closed due to treefall / storm damage, we will take an alternative route down via the summits Rauheck and Buchrain. This adds about 1km and probably some 50-100m altitude gain to the trip.
