Hello fellow Hikers,
I plan to do Daniel and Upsspitze on Saturday. There is beautiful hut on the way (Tuftalm) where we can take a break. Plan is to take the train from Munich HBF at 830am and start hiking by 1030am. The hike should take around 6 hours so we should be back in Munich for Dinner.
This is not an easy hike so I would not suggest it to any begineers. Also there will be some snow on the upper ridges so if you are not comfortable with snow then I would not suggest this hike to you.
Check Out these Videos to get some Infos:
Stuff to bring:
1. Hiking shoes (absolutely Mandatory)
2. Hiking poles (not mandatory, but if you need them).
3. Enough water for the whole day.
4. Snacks and or food.
5. Negative Corona Test and einreisemeldung for Austria (Takes about 2 mins to do)
6. A jacket as it might be cold at the hut and at the Gipfel
7. Spikes for Ice/snow (a must)
7. A good mood with lots of jokes and stories
8. UNO cards if you have some to play on the train(else ill get a normal cards)

If the weather suddenly turns bad, I shall cancel the event. For now it looks pretty good.
IMPORTANT: Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
