Hello Hikers,

I will be starting with my Via-Ferrata hikes this season. The Gelbe Wand is a beginner friendly via-ferrata hike and a perfect route for people who want to try their hands at this type of hikes. The route is completely secured with ropes and provides multiple exit points if someone wishes to drop out mid way. 

After the end of via-ferrata we plan to hike ahead till the Tegelberghaus and have a relaxing drink. Then on the way back go towards Rohrkopf and then down to Tegelbergbahn. I will maintain a slow and steady pace with absolutely no hurry to come back to Munich. If everyone agrees and the weather remains good, we could aslo stop spend the rest of the day at Füssen.

Though this is beginner friendly via-ferrata, it still requires high fitness. 

The weather forecast looks good for Saturday morning. Incase if it changes drastically, I will cancel the event. 


Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
Good to know

Stuff to bring:

1. Full Klettersteig set (Klettersteig Belt, Klettersteig Carabiners, Helmet , Gloves)

2. Hiking shoes (absolutely Mandatory)

3. Hiking poles (optional).

4. Enough water for the whole day.

5. Snacks and food. 

6. A good mood 


IMPORTANT: Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarize themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
