Description
This is an afternoon hike. Meeting time: Thursday 12:45, Hauptbahnhof Platform 30.
We will hike from Neuhaus (Fischbachau) to Bodenschneid. After the peak we will continue to Rosskopf but the second peak is optional. If you want you can walk from Bodenschneid to the Obere Firstalm and have a longer break.

There are easy scrambling passages on the way Bodenschneid. You should be sure-footed and have a head for heights.

I was also thinking about Bodenschneid on Thursday but to combine with Rosskopf to end in Spitzingsee. Would you be interested?

.. but we should check the time plan of the bus. We will probably miss the last bus.
Walking from Spitzingsee down to Neuhaus would take additional 1,5 hours.

departure 1304 train arrives to Neuhaus 1416
total hike time is 5h20 and last bus at 1820
so probably missing it
what if we do on other direction?
only if we can take the train at 1229 arrival to Spitzingsee at 1410 because the train at 1304 has 1h wait time for the bus :/ - works...
then we could be in Neuhaus at 1900ish? - bit shorter the hike i guess because of 250m less elevation on opposite direction

Walking down to Neuhaus either from the Obere Firstalm ( https://firstalm.de/) or from Spitzingsee is not big problem.
I prefer arriving at the hut after the peak(s). Thus I wouldn´t prefer the opposite direction .
Have a look on the following route. It should take around 6:30 hours (incl 1 hour break)
