Description

A long ridge hike from Piding to Bad Reichenhall with amazing views of the Berchtesgadener Alps. I won't go fast but there won't be many stops cause its best to cover as much distance as possible in daylight. Bring a headlamp, please.

We meet at 6:40. I'll buy tickets at 6:45. Train leaves from Munich at 6:55 from platform 10 (this is on the other side and there is a bit of walking involved from platform 11, so take care of it)

Things to bring

  • Hiking boots/poles
  • Clothing for winter (gloves!)
  • Gaiters/Gamaschen and Grödel/Microspikes (we most probably won't need them but there was some snow yesterday so no harm in carrying it)
  • Food and water
  • Money for the tickets (10-15 euros depending on the number of people)
  • Headlamp
