Pleasant
hike from Eng to Lamsenjochhütte with stunning views at the foot of
Lamsenspitze and lunch at the hut with excellent cooking. For this hike, you
need regular hiking equipment, a good spirit and no car at all: This route is
accessible via public transport from Munich and the bus ride itself is already
a treat, so make sure you have a window seat in the bus, especially once
entering the Risstal and Ahornboden, an alpine agricultural landscape that has reportedly been around for 600 years. Taking the BRB Train from Munich, you
change to the Bus no. 9569&nbsp; in Lenggries and are arriving at Eng around
9:20. Your trip commences at 9:30If you decide to go by car, there is ample parking next to the Gasthaus but if anyhow possible, try to carpool (there is a toll of 4,50 per car)

If you want to join me for a first via ferrata tour of
the year, we are going to do the via ferrata "Brudertunnel" to
Lamsenjoch on this sunday as an option,&nbsp; via ferrata (Klettersteig) equipment is mandatory and this part is not depicted on the map nor reflected in the technical figures (altitude and distance) of the trip.&nbsp;One group might return to Gasthof Eng via the panorama path and Eng Alm (go shopping for produce and cheese, made there on the premises) while some participants are going to do the Klettersteig.<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p>

Hi Tilman, for those who starts from Munich HBhf , we need to take a train RB56 to Lenggris at 07:04, Platform 33. (arriving To Lenggris 08:11). Then switch to bus no. 9569 to Eng(arriving time Eng 9:20, as you planned). We could meet at 6:50, near platform 33, Hbf to buy the Bayern ticket , if you don’t mind.

Hi Thomas, given the group size of 22 with 5 more people on the waiting list, I could use a co-guide for this tour and I have been thinking of you, given your experience.. Actually, the tour is not complex and not dangerous, there are signs everywhere but a small part of the group ( 4 hikers) are going to do the Brudertunnel-Via Ferrata..In the meantime, someone would have to lead the group via the panorama path to Eng Alm and the old rule remains: Never leave the group alone. Hi Behzad, sure, you may join. The total fuel cost from Munich (pick-up and drop) would be around 30€ (not sure if any parking cost is involved). This will be divided among all the members equally (including me). Currently, you are the only interested person so, it would cost you 15€. Let's see if we get more guys to join.
