Description

Strictly no beginner hikers: We will be going 1.3 km vertical reaching altitute of almost 2500 m where the air will be thinner. Some leftover snow will be on the way.

Austrian border crossing: You will need official covid negative test max. 48 hour (or/ and relevant papers) before crossing.


@ Drivers: If you cross the border at Achensee and stay on the Landstraße, no vignette needed.


Note: Event will be postponed in the situation of bad weather.

Hey Junghan, are you expecting a particular pace from people who join this hike (e.g. some people ask for 400m/hour uphill). I'm vaccinated and it seems like a fun trip. I'm fit but I prefer hiking leisurely to have time for photos, food, breaks etc so if you are planning to go really fast, it might not be a great match :)

Hi people. I'll postpone the event for 2 weeks. I just called Austria: There is not much snow on the peak but the problem is in the valley behind the mountains around the Torseen area. Do stay on the list.

Hi people, the weather looks promising this Saturday in Tux. Dont forget to do the Covid test tomorrow (if you fall into the category required). And carry a rain jacket just in case.

Hi all, I just joined Jan car few minutes ago then realize wrong date hike and cannot unjoin due to less than 12 hours hike. If anybody from waiting list wanna to join Jan car pls take over my seat (which I cannot unjoin). Thanks
