Description

This is a two day hike with overnight sleep in Memminger Hütte. Please read carefully instructions for the hike and don´t just click on coming.

CARPOOL

Schedule: Hike starts at 9am. 

Drivers: add your car in carpool and put meeting point and time for it.

Passengers: Click on Carpool button. Read carefully all information about the car you join, check if there are any specific instructions. All the costs for the trip will be shared with people in the same car. Meeting point is decided by the driver, this information is in the "Carpool" button.


Instructions for the hike

Everyone is responsible for his/her own booking https://www.alpsonline.org/reservation/calendar?hut_id=140&lang=de_DE&header=yes  I will just take care of the routes and leading the group. Given the time of the year the sooner you book the better it is or you won´t be able to find any place. At the Moment only 10 places are left. Travelling costs will be shared in each car. Extra any food or drink you will buy along those two days. Hiking can be a dangerous activity. Everyone is responsible for him/herself. I am not a professional guide.

Hike Description

Last weekend of July. Let´s use the days still long enough for some long tours in the Alps. It will be the first two days tour I organize this year and I thought about an hut with a great location. Let´s go to Lechtal this time and spend one night in wonderfully located Memmingerhütte. Alpine pastures, mountain lakes, waterfalls, rock giants: the high mountain world can hardly be more beautiful than on this hike in the Lechtal Alps. From Bach (1,070 meters) in the Lechtal the route goes up to the same and on to the three lake peaks (highest: 2,718 meters). The intermediate destination, the Memminger Hütte itself, in the territory of the Grießlspitze (2,830 meters) is also a wonderful viewing box. The refuge is located on the famous Adlerweg from St. Johann in the Tyrolean Unterland to St. Anton am Arlberg. We reach the Seekogel peak that lies northwest of the hut (just 4o minutes from it).to enjoy a marvellous view into Lechtal. We celebrate the end of the day with a good well deserved dinner at Memminger Hütte.
The second day, after a good breakfast, we head further to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Mittlere Seewisee that lies in a rocky gorge and the Obere Seewisee in a Karkessel. We go the top of Seeköpf and after enjoying a good view we go down till the valley. Looking forward to see you all for this beautiful adventure!

I am not entirely sure what to do. I Will check tomorrow again forecasts and make a decision. Ynfortuntately this Summer in Bayern Is Crazy rainy and Plan anything Is damn challenging and frustrating. Till two days before Is possible to cancel kostenlos. I Will write tomorrow.

So guys. The weather Is pretty unstable recently in central Europe but mostly It Is clear the pattern of rain coming in the afternoon/evening. It won't be the sunniest two days hike ever, but on Friday It looks like Will be sunny till afternoon. So we can reach the hut at least in dry conditions and then see. On Saturday It should Rain only light in early Morning and then dry and cloudy the rest of the day. Hopefully the weather Will be fine and with us to enjoy at best the Mountains. So we go for our two days tour. Confirmed. :)

Guys, don't forget the legal requirements: - FFP2 mask for hut - Proof of 3G for hut stay - sleeping bag mandatory - expats must have passport on them since we are crossing the border
