Description

I have hiked this one last year and the view is so amazing. Some people tried it and were pleased as well. It is not a very easy hike, but it is definitely doable.  

We usually change the route, add to it some twists, so you should be okay with it. Trust no drastic changes.

Good to know

We will meet in Munich Hbf at 7:30 am and take the train from platform 30 towards Kochel. The hike starts from there and would take, with a normal pace, around 3-4 hours to reach the endpoint in Kochelsee. If the weather is good we may chill by the see for an hour and then head back. I can not say when exactly we will be in Munich, but it is somewhere between 3-5, not later. 

Essential tools to have: 

  1. Hiking boots, or anything that makes you comfortable and safe
  2. Enough water/drinks 
  3. Food/snacks, we won't eat at a restaurant
  4. Swimming suit (optional)
  5. Your genuine smile, and a mask to cover it while in the train
  6. Your train ticket or money for the Bayern-ticket 
  7. And anything that you may need :) 

You would take all the responsibility of whatever happens to you, God forbid, I will just take care of the navigation and try to keep the spirit and the pace. The hike is not dangerous but there is no risk-free anything, so you have to watch out.
