A long ridge hike from Piding to Inzell with amazing views of the Berchtesgadener alps.

Train leaves from Munich at 6:53 from platform 7.

Cost of shared Bayern ticket will be around 10 to 15 Euros per person.

Last bus back from Inzell leaves at 5 pm! Therefore the pace MUSTbe quite high. Expect an ascent pace of approximately 600 hm per hour with a short (two minutes) water break every hour.

Everyone who needs more than 2h for the first 1000m will have to return to Piding.

WARNING: If you cannot keep up with the required pace, there is a chance that you have to return alone to Piding or will have to hitch a ride from Inzell to Munich or the nearest train station (Traunstein or Ruhpolding).

Good to know

You should be experienced enough to know what to bring. I recomend train running shoes or light hiking boots and trekking poles.

According to the weather forecast, it will be hot and sunny. Bring enough water! There won't be time for an extended break at the hut! Expect a maximum break of about 15 minutes.

We meet at Hauptbahnhof München. The meeting point is in front of the "La Condesa" restaurant (Holzkirchener Flügelbahnhof) at 6:35h.
