Austria's highest mountains like the the Großvenedig and the Großglockner are located in the same alps.) <br><br><i><b>Day 1</b></i>: Drive to the parking house near Kesselfall Alpenhaus (1100m elevation) and start our steep ascent over approximately 9km to the <b>Gleiwitzer Hütte</b>.<br><i>The Gleiwitzer Hütte is one of most highly rated huts (5 stars on DAV Hüttentest list and 4.9 stars on Google Reviews).</i><br>I have reserved <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">10</span> spots in the hut already for the weekend August 28th-August 29th. <br><i><b>Day 2</b></i>: Complete the loop round the <b>Kapruner Ache </b>lake, passing by the Hoher Tenn (3368m) and head back to the car. </p><p><br></p><p>You will need to bring your own sleeping bag for the hut and a proof of 3G. Pack light and bring warm clothes, waterproof hiking shoes and spikes. Hey everyone 👋,

For the adventure-aspiring folks out there, I've got something right for you!

We will be heading to the Hoher Tauern Nationalpark in the central austrian Alps. Austria's highest mountains like the the Großvenedig and the Großglockner are located in the same alps.)

Day 1: Drive to the parking house near Kesselfall Alpenhaus (1100m elevation) and start our steep ascent over approximately 9km to the Gleiwitzer Hütte.
The Gleiwitzer Hütte is one of most highly rated huts (5 stars on DAV Hüttentest list and 4.9 stars on Google Reviews).
I have reserved 10 spots in the hut already for the weekend August 28th-August 29th.
Day 2: Complete the loop round the Kapruner Ache lake, passing by the Hoher Tenn (3368m) and head back to the car.

You will need to bring your own sleeping bag for the hut and a proof of 3G. Pack light and bring warm clothes, waterproof hiking shoes and spikes. Once we set up the Whatsapp group closer to the date, I will share more details on what we need to bring.

Update from 24.08.2021: Event is moved to Saturday/Sunday 11/12.09 due to unfavourable weather conditions of 28/29.08. All participants were updated on the event's Whatsapp group.

Hi guys, I booked a spot in the hut for me separat. We have 11 spots in total. So 1 spot in the hut is still available, if someone wants to join.

As we chatted, you may stay because car spots are limited. I can adjust the number of booked slots in the hut closer to the date.
