We will take the public transport leaving from München Harras at 9:09 to Jachenau Post and arrive there at 10:46.
After the hike we will take public transport from Kochel train station back to München Pasing.
I will be buying a Bayern-Ticket for the whole group, so I will need your full first and last name by 8:50 am on Saturday. To insure that I will not be paying for no-shows, you will need to transfer 10€ via Paypal to me (please contact me to get my credentials) by Friday 10 pm. The rest of the money (depending on how many people will join) for the Bayern Ticket can be paid on the train.
If you want to start your train ride at München Hauptbahnhof, the train leaves at 9:03 from platform 33. Please let me know beforehand that you are going to be in the train already and make sure to sit in the part of the train with destination Lenggries. You will need a standard MVV/MVG ticket that is valid for M-Zone for the ride to Harras and from Pasing.
I will be waiting for hiking buddies not already on the train at Harras Platform 2 at 8:50 am.
Things to bring in addition to standard day hike equipment:
- Food and drink for a 7-10 hour day of hiking
If you have any questions, just ask. I will be contacting everybody that joins to verify as well.
Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
Not for beginners
