Description

An easy hike with very beautiful views. The hike will take 4 and a half hours, not considering the stopovers. 

There are three lakes on the path, I hope the weather will be good enough for swimming, though it does not look promising. There are restaurants in front of the lakes.

Please join only if you are prepared to complete the 14.6Km loop.

Good to know

We will meet at München Hbf, in front of the Starbucks next to the Platform 11, on Fri, August 6th, 09:15, where we will buy Bayern tickets and take the train to Mittenwald at 09:32.


Please come prepared and bring hiking necessities with you (proper shoes, a swimsuit (in case you'd like to dive into the lakes), water, a snack, cash for the ticket, etc). 

We will take one of the following trains back to München, depending on the time we will complete the loop and be back in Mittenwald:

Every participant must be able to navigate her/himself on the suggested route. Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you cannot come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours. No-shows will be recorded in your profile.

@Georg just a heads-up: I think Bayern ticket is only valid from 9 am onward on the weekdays

@all Since Bayern ticket is only valid from 9:00 am on weekdays, the meeting time has been updated to 9:15 so we can catch the 9:32 train and use Bayern tickets.
