Description


Meeting time:  Saturday 14 August, 06:15 ; HBf Platform 30


We will take the train to Reutte in Tirol and hike to the peak from north side. After having a break on the peak we will descend to south and reach the Plansee where we will have the second break. 


Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T4.


3G rule: The hike is in Austria, that means All travellers need to show either a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination/past infection upon entry



Things to bring:

  • There are no huts on the way so please bring enough food for the whole day.
  • Waterproof hiking boots
  • Cash for the ticket
  • Passport/Id
  • Food/drinks for the way
  • Sunscreen
  • Swimsuit if you want to take a dip in the lake
  • see 3G rule


Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Dear all, I expect a very good summer day bur just in case we are hit by some rain drops , please be ready. Have your rain jacket in your backpack. We will have a break at the lake. IF you want, you can swim. Depending our mood , I will decide which train we will take. Please be flexible. If you have some urgent tasks for tomorrow evening, please revise your attendance.
