Description
Hike to Zugspitze from Eibsee via the Stopselzieher and down on the easy route to Garmisch (Reintal). This route is very long but has no real difficulties.
Please bring a helmet and Grödel, Klettersteig set is optional (I will not bring one). There is some snow and ice up there!
Good to know
Please bring the usual:
- mask
- Grödel
- cash for the ticket
- id & fully charged smartphone with gpx route saved and 112 number as well
- enough water and snacks to keep you fueled during the hike - no huts open and I do not plan to make any stops!
- gloves to keep your hands warm
- hiking boots (waterproof)
- hiking poles (optional)
- headlamp

Please note that you will need to buy a Flixbus ticket in advance, as the train drivers are on strike.

Apologies in advance, folks. I mistakenly joined this event thinking 11th Aug would be Thursday :( :(. I can't make it tomorrow (Wednesday) since I am working. Also unable to unjoin the event since it's starting in the next 12 hrs. Please consider my spot free if someone wants to join. Sorry again for messing up the days..
