Description

Strictly no beginner hikers: We will be going  at least 1 km vertical to 2700 m where the air will be thinner.

Optional: Schöntalspitze where we will go above 3000 m (higher than the Zugspitze). 

Those not doing Schöntalspitze will proceed ahead to Westfalenhaus for food and drinks and have more time for Lüsenstal.


Austrian border crossing: You will need official covid negative test max. 48 hour (or/ and relevant papers) before crossing.

You will also need the same paper to enter the restaurant (Austrian regulations).


Please do not join the event if you have alternate plan in the evening.


Note: Event will be postponed in the situation of bad weather.

Good to know

@ Drivers:

No need for vignette if you go via Mittenwald 

On the way back to avoid traffic jam, go via Walchensee (avoid Garmisch-Partenkirchen)
