Who else wants to take off two days and spend some time in
the Tannheim mountain range?
Day 1 (approx 6 h): We will start our tour at the Musau/Bärenfalle
car park, from where we hike up to Große Schlicke (2059 m). We can follow the
route to Schartschrofen (1968 m), before descending to the Otto-Mayr-Hütte.
This is where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day2 (approx. 6 h): After breakfast we leave the hut and
will hike up to Nesselwängler Scharte. We follow the path to Sabahütte. On the
way back to the car park, we can climb up the Hahlekopf (1758 m).
Note: There are several paths in this area, opening up a
number of shorter and easier variations. Also, the summits can be easily skipped.
Please make yourself familiar with the current Covid regulation! Our hike is in Austria!
When entering Austria and Germany, you have to provide either a certificate of full vaccination or full recovery from Covid, or a valid negative Covid test. You will also need to show this certificate when checking in at the hut!
Everyone is responsible himself for reading the current Covid regulation and fulfilling these requirements.
Where to stay: We will stay at the Otto-Mayr-Hütte. Please
make your own reservation through the online system. Please write in the
„Nachricht“ box that you belong to the group „Thomas Köster“.
