Description

First time I am going for a hike so I picked something that looks reasonable for beginners:) Also, a friend recommended Tegernsee for nice views.

  • We meet at 9:30 at the Platform #33 and take RB 57(https://www.brb.de/de/fahrplaene/linienuebersicht-fahrplaene/linie/rb-57)
  • There is a train every 30 mins, so we will take the train at 10:00.
  • It is better to get tickets before we meet, BRB GUTEN TAG TICKET looks like the best option and would cover the return as well. If you plan to get a group ticket, please, bring cash with you and come by 9:30. If you get a separate ticket, you can come closer to 10:00
  • We will arrive to Gmund a.Tegernsee, Gmund (Tegernsee) around 11:00 and start the hike.
  • The route should take around 3 hours and ends at Tegernsee train station around 3pm (I expect us to be slow)
  • There is a train to Munich every 30 mins.

Good to know

  • Please, bring some water and food with you, I am not sure if there is anything along the way.
  • Please, wear comfortable shoes and clothes

Buying 2x Bayern tickets, each for 5 persons, is more economic for everyone (it makes around 12€ per person) and return is also covered. We could meet already at 09:30 and buy tickets together.
