Weather on Sunday looks great, so let´s go for an easy hike from Schliersee to Tegernsee. Part of the track is under trees, so great due to the shining sun forecasted. It´s a beginner friendly path, with slow pace but not for first time hikers and not be underestimated, due to the length and some parts of the path. I´m expecting to complete the walk in 4-5hours, excluding the stops.

No need of early wake up, meeting point at 8:40 sharp, Munich HBF, close to platform 33. We will buy tickets at 8:45 ( Oberland-MVV-Ticket) and take the train RB55 at 09:03 towards Schliersee.

Let´s have a drink at one of the Hütte but please bring enough food and water with you. I´m expecting to take the train back around 5pm but we can also chill-out at Tegernsee, depending on the group mood and weather.

No rush and no hurry! :-)

Good to know

Meeting point: Platform 33, Munich HBF at 8:40 (don´t be late). Train: RB55.

Train back: Train around 5pm from Tegernsee (around 6pm in Munich)

Hiking booth and suitable clothes. Rain forecasted at late evening but subject to change. Path can be slippery.

Enough water and food (the day will be hot). Sun cream and hat are also suggested.
