Description

DO NOT TAKE PART IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE MULTIPLE VIA FERRATAS. Event might be cancelled if the weather report looks to be too rainy.

We will take the public transport leaving from München Pasing at 5:00 to Ehrwald Zugspitzbahn and arrive there at 7:01.

After the hike we will take public transport from Ehrwald Zugspitzbahn station back to München Pasing.

I will be buying a Werdenfels-Ticket for the whole group, so I will need your full first and last name by 8 pm on Monday. To insure that I will not be paying for no-shows, you will need to transfer 10€ via Paypal to me (please contact me to get my credentials) by the same time. The rest of the money (depending on how many people will join) for the Werdenfels-Ticket can be paid on the train.

If you want to start your train ride at München Hauptbahnhof, the train leaves at 4:53 from platform 31. Please let me know beforehand that you are going to be in the train already and make sure to tell me where on the train you are sitting. You will need a standard MVV/MVG ticket that is valid for M-Zone for the ride to and from Pasing.

Things to bring in addition to standard day hike equipment:

- Food and drink for about 10-11 hour day of hiking

- Rain Clothes

-Via Ferrata Set and Climbing Harness

I will be hiking at a moderate pace (about 400-450 meters of elevation gain per hour) as long as we are not on the via ferrata.

If you have any questions, just ask. I will be contacting everybody that joins to verify as well.

PLEASE CHECK COVID RULES FOR GERMANY AND AUSTRIA (e.g. for reentry to Germany you need a negativ test result or be fully vaccinated, ...)

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else.

Comments
Due to rainy weather i aborted the via ferrata and went to Vorderer Drachenkopf and Schachtkopf instead
