Description

Wörner is one of those mountains in Karwendel, that offer a 360 degrees view from the top on a sunny day.

First 1000 hm up is a simple hike, last 500 hm is scrambling in UIAA 1-2 difficulty level.

The pace for acsend will be 450hm/h. I plan this a whole day event with return to Munich at about 20:00 - 21:00. Please keep that it mind when joining.

This hike is not suitable for beginners. Experience in scrambling/climbing is required.

Good to know

You may consider bringing your helmet and gloves if you prefer scrambling with them on.

If you carpool in my car: I will post the xact meeting point later, but it will be near an U-Bahn or an S-Bahn station.
