Description

Let's enjoy the sunny evening with a beginner friendly hike / walk. :) Make sure to read the whole description below.

What to bring: All you want except cigarettes & alcool.

Mosquito warning: It'll be full of them. If you want to enjoy the walk, bring mosquito repellent and long trousers, plus jacket. @Girls: Don't think your legging will be enough, they bite through it.

Pace: Friendly walk with a slow pace.

Schedule

  • 18h00: Drivers & passengers meet. @Passengers: Consider arriving 5 minutes before the indicated time to play safe. You can see the time you have to meet via the carpool button. Look at the instructions given by your driver if any.
  • 19h30: Start
  • 20h00: Sunset
  • 21h00: Break / Stargazing / Swim
  • 22h00: Car

Carpool - Explanations

Drivers are welcome to add their cars as long as the limit of participants has not been reached.

Passengers in my car

  • Meeting time is indicated in the carpool page (green button at the top). Meeting point is in front of Holiday Inn West at Hirschgarten (Google Maps link)
  • Fuel prepayment: Please Paypal me the amount indicated in the Carpool page within 12h after I send you an email (I will send it the day before). This is non-refundable to avoid last minute drop outs. On Paypal, choose "Transfer to a friend / family" otherwise Paypal takes a commission. You can either use Paypal (paypal.me/jallard1) or ask me for my IBAN. Paypal is preferred. If no payment is done, I will free up your seat and take someone else approx. 12 hours before the start of the event.
  • It's a BMW Gran Tourer Grey (6 seats).

Passengers in other cars need to refer to the info given by the driver in the Carpool page.

I thought Friday is good weather but actually not at Eibsee. Will keep that one for some day newt week, like 7th or 8th September.

Hi, I'm registered to meet up at Leonrodplatz. If there is a possibility, I would switch this with someone how will join in a car departing from Ostbahnhof. Thanks.

note: cars must leave the parking lot at 22:00 at the latest, otherwise you have to pay 50EUR penalty

Hi, for those who want to do stargazing: Please bring a headlamp with red light mode. Otherwise you will end up exposing your retina to strong lights which will impair your ability to see (most) stars (which are not so bright).
